* The Coronavirus (COVID-19) *
If you think you may be suffering from the coronavirus do not leave your home. Attending the surgery will only risk further spread of the virus. This also applies for pharmacies, walk in centres, hospitals etc.
Remain at home and call NHS 111 who will arrange the appropriate care for you. Suspected cases will not be seen at the surgery. You will only be isolated and transferred to a specialist hospital in accordance with Government advice.
Official guidance from Public Health England is to isolate suspected cases. If you come into contact with someone you believe to have the coronavirus immediately withdraw from the room, do not touch your mouth or eyes. Wash your hands well with soap and water. Then call NHS 111.
If you have returned to the UK from any of these areas in the last 14 days and develop symptoms of cough or fever or shortness of breath, you should immediately call 111:
- China, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Macau.
💻 Online Patient Access 💻
Did you know that you can order prescriptions, check your results and make appointments online?
Just ask at Reception if you would like to be set up to do this, bringing photo ID (e.g. passport or driving licences) and proof of address from the last 3 months. The process is quick and easy, allowing you to make repeat prescription requests and appointments even when the surgery is closed.
Checking your results after 7 days online is quick and easy, saving you and us time

Online Patient Access Information
📱 Personalised texts: a new service! 📱
Good news- we can now use a system called AccuRx to text patients. We hope this will really help you. We can send out personalised messages for a large number of things such as invites for appointments, information leaflets, notes about your results.
Patients often find this is the most convenient form of contact, so we will be using it as standard from now on in our communications unless you tell us otherwise!
You can opt out of this easily by contacting us, and if you have a mobile number registered at the surgery you should have already received a text giving you this option. We won’t provide sensitive information, but it may be personal, similar to what might be in a letter. We would recommend thinking about whether you have a shared mobile phone registered with us, and keep your number updated regularly.
12-16 year olds are a group of patients we need to think a bit more carefully about, and for data protection and to protect them we will need to remove their numbers and online access until they give us consent. We will update patients about this soon
Since early 2018 we have been running a new appointment system
We have worked towards a system that allows patients to access the right service at the right time, thank you for your support with the changes!
